The friendly Phonics Firefly uses lights, sounds and digital speech to teach children phonics. There are seven available modes: the alphabet song, letter names, letter recognition, sound alphabet, letter sounds, three letter words and word creation. Mode 2 teaches the names of letters, then mode 3 quizzes letter recognition. Phonics Firefly's word bank speaks nearly every three-letter word in the English language!
